Dontnod revealed the release date for Vampyr as June 5 in the final installment of their webseries Dontnod Presents Vampyr – Stories from the Dark.
In the video, the development team discuss their signature approach to storytelling and how they strive to create "immersive, atmospheric games in which players truly embody their characters." Vampyr's exploration, investigations, citizen encounters, combat, and hard-hitting choices are all fundamentally intertwined with the game's narrative.

The developers go on to explain how videogames bear a similarity to theatre, creating a close relationship between the actor and spectator, and how they utilise this in Vampyr to create total immersion.
We also get to see a glimpse of the game's citizen interactions and dialogue options, similar to Dontnod's previous title Life is Strange.
Vampyr will release for PC on June 5.
