Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen has received a 'verified' commendation from Valve and lends itself to being played on the go. While we thought this bode well for Dragon's Dogma 2, it simply cannot bring the same level of performance to the Deck, and rarely runs at higher than 20fps on the lowest settings and with AMD FSR enabled.
Unfortunately, it appears that the lack of optimization plaguing the PC version is also present in the Steam Deck port. This does feel like a fixable situation for Capcom, but this has only proven to be the case for the PC version as the handheld port remains poor.
