How to fix the Silent Hill 2 jukebox
The jukebox is inside Neely's Bar, on the corner of Neely St. and Sanders St. This is your first major destination in the horror game, the jukebox puzzle sends you to some of Silent Hill's main attractions.
The jukebox puzzle solution requires the following:
- Broken vinyl record
- Vinyl glue
- Jukebox button
- Neely's Bar coin
The missing half of the broken vinyl record can be found in Groovy Music at the northern end of Neely St. Enter the record store and defeat the two Lying Figures inside, then break the windows to access the ading room. The broken vinyl record and vinyl glue can be found on the table in the center of the room.
You can find the jukebox button inside the Saul Street apartments, on the corner of Neely St. and Saul St. Once you're inside, push the obstacle blocking the doorway to the left of the map on the wall to gain entry to the office and retrieve the apartment key from the key box.
Head upstairs to apartment five and unlock the door using the key. Step through the gap in the wall leading to apartment four, and then the next gap leading to the outdoor fire escape. Make your way up the fire escape and hop through the open window. Proceed to the bathroom ahead and interact with the hole in the wall to retrieve the jukebox button.
Finally, head to the Texan Cafe on the far eastern side of Katz St. and interact with the behind the bar. Turn the key and press the button on the bottom right to eject the tray and retrieve the Neely's Bar coin. A Lying Figure will enter the bar when you pick it up, so be on your guard.
Return to Neely's Bar. Combine the two halves of the broken vinyl record with the vinyl glue. Interact with the right arm of the jukebox back to lower the lever blocking its path and then interact with it two more times to bring it forward and insert the glued-up vinyl record. Add the jukebox button and insert the coin into the coin slot. Finally, hit the blue "C" switch and the red "2" button to play the vinyl. After a short cutscene, head through the door to the left of the save point with Neely's Bar Key to continue your jaunt across Silent Hill.
