A new rumor has revealed the specs for several new Nvidia graphics cards, including the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060, expected to be among the next of the latest series of Nvidia graphics cards to launch. Purported specs for both the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti, along with the entry-level RTX 5050, have just been leaked X.
These new AMD Radeon RX 9070, which has launched with a very competitive $549 price tag.
These rumors come from renowned hardware leaker kopite7kimi in a series of RTX 4060 Ti.
The RTX 4060, along with 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM and a slightly lower 150W TGP.
This will contrast with the entry-level RTX 5050, which kopite7kimi says will also launch with 8GB VRAM, but use slower GDDR6 memory chips. The 5050 will also reportedly have only 2,560 CUDA cores and a 130W TGP, placing it very much at the bottom of the new RTX 50-series.
Much of this is still to be officially confirmed, but this new specs leak gives us a good idea as to where these cards could stack up, performance-wise. Given what we've seen here, it suggests that they may not offer a huge raw performance boost compared to their RTX 40-series counterparts.
However, much will depend on how well these cards are priced, especially against the competition, with recent RTX 5050 launch rumors suggesting that the entry-level card could launch for just $199 next month. With both the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti also rumored to launch in April, we may not have much longer to wait before we find out for ourselves how well these GPUs are going to perform, and how affordable they are, for gamers, assuming there's enough stock to go round (and that's a big assumption right now).
