New World reached a peak server transfer system. Following a decline in active player numbers, several New World servers have been merged together in order to keep . New world server merges
New World server merges took place in December 2021. In a blog post detailing the merge, Amazon explained players' faction change cooldown timers will reset in order to allow players to organise well-balanced servers.
If you're looking for a new server, the New World Status fansite provides real-time information on the current queue time and number of active players in each server, and you can also see historical population levels across the last week.
Europe Servers
On EU, there are several officially suggested servers for different languages, but there are also a few other servers with a high number of players from one particular country. A significant Dutch population play on Barri, and a large number of Russian players on Hyperborea. There is a Polish community playing on Karkar, a Swedish and Finnish interest in Midgard, and several Hungarian companies on Muspelheim.
The busiest New World servers in Europe are currently Hellheim, Styx, and Asgard.
