Want to know how to make a Minecraft armor stand? The unique wooden item can is used to hold armor in the sandbox game, saving chest space while looking pretty darn nice – after all, you need somewhere to hang up your armor after a long day of slaying creepers and zombies.
Armour stands can also be used to display carved pumpkins or the heads taken from defeated Minecraft smooth stone slab recipe and simple sticks.
Minecraft armor stand recipe
To craft a Minecraft armor stand, you'll need six sticks and one smooth stone slab. Ready-made armor stands can also be looted from village armorer houses in the Taiga biome and can be broken by attacking them twice.
In your 3×3 crafting grid, simply place three sticks along the top row, one in the center of the middle row, and the remaining two sticks either side of the smooth stone slab in the bottom row, as seen in the image above.
How to pose armor stands
In Bedrock edition, you can post armor stands to make them look that little bit more friendly – or hostile, if you want to scare visitors away. Simply right-click while crouched, or your use button on a controller, to interact with the armor stand, and cycle through the available poses.
Unfortunately, you cannot pose armor stands in vanilla Java edition, but you can do so using console commands.
