After four years of Steam early access, Knock on the Coffin Lid hit 1.0 in 2024 and has built a strong rep as a tricky grimdark roguelike pitched somewhere between Slay the Spire and Dark and Darker. Now, developer RedBoon is bringing it to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. To celebrate, we've got ten Steam codes to give away.
roguelike, with enough dark fantasy creatures and scenarios to keep you busy for a dozen hours or so. During each run, you'll experiment with different damage types, catch enemies in traps, bump your defences, and exploit weaknesses and resistances to stay alive for as long as possible. Given it was in early access for a whopping four years, you could say it's pretty well-balanced.
The game's console release comes hot on the heels of its latest DLC, Nightmares of Millenis. It takes place after the core game's story and adds new cards to collect, enemies to battle, and adjustable difficulty options to fiddle with. You can find out more over on its Steam page.
