The Honkai Star Rail 3.0 release date is Wednesday, January 15, 2025. This update will last six weeks and is due to end sometime around Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
Honkai Star Rail servers go down for scheduled maintenance for approximately five hours before new content becomes available. This downtime is typically compensated with free Honkai Star Rail stellar jade, so don't forget to before it expires.

The Honkai Star Rail 3.0 livestream aired on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. This special program included the usual collection of limited-time codes for viewers to redeem and an overview of the latest story developments in the anime game following the 3.0 release date.

Honkai Star Rail 3.0 story
Version 3.0 sees the Astral Express depart from Penacony to Amphoreus, a chaotic vortex whose inhabitants are isolated from the rest of the galaxy. Instead of Titans, Amphoreus is presided over by the Titans. These twelve deities waged a civil war that sent a black tide across Amphoreus, plunging the world into eternal night.
The Trailblazer vows to turn this tide, fighting through the Abyss of Fate to reach Okhema, the Holy City. There, they'll meet the Chrysos Heirs, a band of heroes bent on reclaiming the Titan Coreflames and awakening Kephale, the Worldbearing Titan, to restore Amphoreus to its former glory.
Honkai Star Rail 3.0 events
As with all Honkai Star Rail updates, the 3.0 release includes several limited-time events you can participate in for free rewards. The Gift of Odyssey, Realm of the Strange, and Planar Fissure events return for the 3.0 update, giving you additional banner pulls, EXP material, and Planar Ornaments.
