An abundance of gear is open to customization, and we're here to help you make sense of it all, with the end result being a unique character that stands out from the crowd.
That's where the Diablo 4 transmog system comes into play. It's long understood that gem sockets, then here's how to unlock and use the Diablo 4 transmog system.
How to unlock Diablo 4 transmog
You can unlock Diablo 4 transmog by speaking to a Blacksmith in any settlement in Sanctuary. You can Veiled Crystals from salvaging.
How to use transmog in Diablo 4
You can use Diablo 4 transmog by interacting with a Wardrobe located near your stash in any of the major cities, indicated by the wardrobe icon on your map.
Diablo 4 transmog includes two customization options: variants and pigments. Variants consist of the specific styles you've salvaged that are available to transmog, whereas pigments are the various color palettes you can apply to them. The pieces of armor that are open for transmog are your helmet, chest, gloves, pants, and boots. Additional decorative items can also be purchased to match your aesthetic, but are not able to be edited individually.
Pigments can either be applied to a single piece of armor or to all your gear, which makes styling your warrior a heck of a lot easier. It's also possible to return an item to its original form before the creative juices start flowing by hovering over the item and selecting 'Hide Transmog'.
