How do I equip skins in Clair Obscur Expedition 33?

Once you have an outfit or hairstyle to equip, just open the character menu, select the character you want to style, and hit the small Costume button on the right. It's under the stat spread and just above the Lumina Points section.

Outfits and hairstyles are split along the top and bottom. Just make your pick and back out to keep the look.

How do I turn off Clair Obscur Expedition 33 skins in cutscenes?

If you don't want the vibe of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's many emotionally charged cinematics diluted with a wacky hairstyle, head into the settings and set the 'Character Customisation in Cutscenes' option under the Gameplay tab to Disabled.

This tweak will force characters back into their story-specific outfits for those cutscenes. And don't worry: you won't have to dive back into the menus to change back into your preferred attire after each one.

On the other hand, if you want to lighten up the mood a bit, toggle the setting to allow non-default skins and hairstyles in these powerful cutscenes. Sobbing with a baguette on your back is hilarious in a way.

Where to get Baguette skins in Clair Obscur Expedition 33

Despite the marketing making it seem like the Baguette skins are freely available in Clair Obscur Expedition 33, you have to work to find each set for each individual character. And they're really spread out.

For example, you can get Sciel Baguette set (a striped shirt with a baguette on the back and a hairstyle with a baret) fairly early on by defeating the Mime hidden in Esqie's Hideout. Head toward Francois' cave, hopping off into the water rather than paying him a visit. You should see the mime in the left corner of the water.

But you'll only get a chance to get Maelle's Baguette outfit by beating the Mime in The Reacher. This is an end-game dungeon you can't reach until the credits roll.
