What are all the Black Ops 6 Zombies maps? Round-based Zombies is back with a bang, and we're loving it. Following the two fantastic maps available at launch, Citadelle Des Morts was added to the roster with the launch of Season 1 Reloaded, and The Tomb arrived with Season 2. Most recently, Shattered Veil materialized with Season 3.
The five BO6 Zombies maps available in the Black Ops 6 Zombie mode, as they feature special voice lines. Whoever you choose, here's everything you need to know about where they'll be taking you.

The Black Ops 6 Zombies maps are set up as a round-based mode where you survive waves of enemies, but if you do a bit of digging, there's an entire quest line that you can play through. Not only is there an interesting story to discover, but you also gain access to a unique Wonder Weapons on each map.
Be sure to check our Perk-A-Colas guide to understand how these important mechanics can empower you.
The five Black Ops 6 Zombies maps so far are:
- Shattered Veil
- The Tomb
- Citadelle Des Morts
- Terminus
- Liberty Falls
Shattered Veil
Having snapped up the Sentinel Artifact from deep within The Tomb, Carver and Co. now need to head deep into the forest beyond Liberty Falls. There, they'll find Colton Hall: an old manor house looking considerably worse for wear (but at least there's a cool T-Rex exhibit). Below the mansion, you'll get to meet S.A.M, a synthetic AI based on a snapshot of Maxis, who could hold the key to unlocking the artifact's secrets and saving her human counterpart.
Colton Hall has its fair share of open foyers and condensed hallways, so clever movement and a thorough understanding of the layout will help you maximize your chances of success. With our Shattered Veil main quest guide in tow, you'll make light work of the whole affair.
Microwave Trap
Shattered Veil sports a new enemy type, the Elder Disciple, which can not only empower nearby zombies but also summon new ones to do its bidding. Fortunately, the map's two trap types are perfect for dealing with large crowds. Firstly, we have the Microwave Trap which, for the low, low price of 750 Essence will burst down groups of zombs.
Dark Aether Field Generator
Next up we have ol' reliable from Liberty Falls, the Dark Aether Field Generator. Activate the generator, creating a field of zappy death that will re-cremate anything that enters its radius. Happy trails.
The Tomb
The Tomb is a deep underground discovery found during an ill-fated excavation by Sir Archibald Fortherington-Smythe, who is around via ancient recordings to guide you through the map.
You and the team have found yourselves here following Krafft's instructions, as you must bring the artifact found at the end of the Citadelle des Morts quest here. Use the amulet to open the Doorway to Nowhere, and let the rest of the story unfold. Use our dedicated BO6 Directed Mode for an in-game guide to the quest.
Arrow traps
This ancient tomb was the final resting place for warriors, and special zombies are likely to be kitted out in armor. With them and new Shock Mimic Elite enemies on your back, you might need some help. Fortunately, arrow traps are here to aid you, shooting walls of deadly arrows from the walls. To get through the trap yourself, if needed, slide across the floor and you'll just about miss the onslaught.
Dark Aether Nexus
Opening the Doorway to Nowhere reveals a portal to the stunning and dangerous Dark Aether Nexus. As starlight and auroras swirl above your head, crystals and giant fungi jut from the ground and, of course, zombies swarm to your location. Be careful not to fall between the rocks into the void below.
Citadelle Des Morts
Surrounded by a stunning castle setting, the gang arrives in Avalon to continue the story after the events of the Terminus main quest, which we won't spoil for you here, but which you might want to complete before engaging in the Citadelle Des Morts main quest if you haven't done either already.
Upon reaching Avalon, the team finds Sergei Ravenov, returning from previous Black Ops games, but making his first appearance in Black Ops 6.
Across this medieval map are a range of new traps and interactable features, and the Citadelle des Morts main quest is one of the most interesting so far. We've got the full run down in our separate guide, but here are some of the mechanics you can utilize in Citadelle des Morts whether completing the quest or not.
Oil traps
Being a medieval castle, some of the Citadelle des Morts traps are equally traditional, and the castle's simple oil traps pour a vat of boiling oil on zombies crossing beneath the open portcullis. As well as quickly tackling a large train of zombies, these oil traps are particularly useful at slowing down Doppelghasts.
Point of Power traps
In contrast to the simplistic manual oil traps, Point of Power traps are something all together more arcane. Triggering these traps boosts your damage dealt to nearby zombies, as long as you remain within the confines of the spell.
Terminus
Historically, Call of Duty Zombies has taken place on a dedicated map with its own set of operators to flesh out the story. Think Voyage of Despair, Zombies in Spaceland, and Buried as some of the best examples. Black Ops 6 returns to form with Terminus, in which operators from Black Ops Cold War, Weaver, Dr Grey, and Carver, are ed by new face Maya as the main characters.
Terminus is a dark and dingy Zombies map and just happens to be where our ragtag crew has been detained since the end of Black Ops Cold War. Now they're out of their cells, the team realizes that Project Janus has turned the outpost into a bio-research station, with bodies floating in vats around them and mutated creatures closing in for the kill.
While there's a lot of space to roam on Terminus, you need to be careful not to trap yourself in any cells. The prison complex does have its benefits, though, with map-specific traps at your disposal. Leave the complex, and you could become a snack for The Tentacle, a gigantic monstrosity waiting for you in the waters surrounding the island.
Take a look at our Terminus main quest guide to get your hands on Beamsmasher Wonder Weapon, learn about a hidden containment unit, and eventually take on the monster known as Patient 13.

Tentacle traps
You can see the tentacle trap put to work in the Black Ops 6 Zombies trailer above. Run through one of these doors with a train of zombies behind you, activating the trap as you do, and watch as they get pulled up and swallowed whole by the trap's grotesque mouth.
Cannon traps
Also shown in the trailer above, cannon traps can decimate Black Ops 6 zombies in a flash. This heavy artillery weapon was repurposed by Project Janus and can now be used as a powerful defense against the undead, provided you have the resources to power it up.
Liberty Falls
We head to the American South in Liberty Falls, as the zombie apocalypse destroys "1991's fastest growing town in America." Set in West Virginia, Liberty Falls is a slightly more light and dare we say welcoming map than Terminus, with its hometown comforts like a beautiful (but dangerous) church and even the local comic book store.
The Aetherella statue in the comic book store can be triggered to blast devastating laser beams around the room to clear out hordes of undead. This costs valuable Essence to do, so consider if that's where you want to spend your money before you do.
Give our Liberty Falls main quest guide a read to discover how to craft your very own Jet Gun, and you can test your might against the strength of the special Manglers and Abominations.
Thrustodyne Model 23
The rather weighty Liberty Falls Thrustodyne is essentially a jet engine turned ferocious weapon. Wielding this majestic machine, you can simply suck up hordes of zombies into the propellers, killing them instantly. Alternatively, suck up trash around you and charge up a powerful blast.
Dark Aether Field Generator traps
By coughing up enough Essence, one of two "powerful, zombie-dissolving" Dark Aether Field Generators can be activated, stunning them in an area of Aether power and eventually killing them – unless you do it with your bullets, first.
Parked Vehicle traps
Parked cars may not sound like the most threatening tools in your box of zombie slaying tricks, but those that aren't already on fire can actually be turned into a triggerable explosive trap. Rig the car of choice to blow (preferably a Prius), and detonate that sucker when the murderous horde gets close.
Those are all the details on the Black Ops 6 Zombies maps in the game so far, but stay tuned as we include more information when new maps are added. In the meantime, find out more about FPS game right away.
