Indie publishing label Devolver Digital have had a bunch of hits, from the super successful Hotline Miami to their "top selling and best reviewed game," The Talos Principle. It looks like the newly-released Absolver could knock the latter off its perch, though, probably with a flying kick, if launch numbers are anything to go by.

Over on Twitter, fictional Devolver CEO Fork Parker called Absolver Devolver's biggest launch ever.

We reached out to the publisher for clarification. "Devolver is super proud and honored to be working with Sloclap on their ambitious first game, Absolver, which has been our biggest game launch ever, both in of revenue and concurrent s, and the size of our egos," a spokesperson tells us.
On top of that, we've also been told that estimated concurrent players, across PC and PS4, sat at around 30,000 at launch. Plenty of people to kick in the face, then.
